Description: Job Location: Sacramento Valley Area
WESTERN WATER ASSOCIATES, INC. has an opening for a Technical sales representative in _______________. Our sales reps develop new business opportunities while maintaining an existing customer base. In addition to growing business, responsibilities include working with facility engineers to improve the efficiency of customer plant
operations. The service aspect of the position includes, among other things, evaluation of plant operating equipment, data acquisition and monitoring, field
testing, writing service reports and maintaining organized plant operation manuals.
The rep will be exposed to many types of industrial equipment including water treatment equipment, boilers, cooling towers, refrigeration and a wide range of piping, valves and pumps. Climbing ladders through roof hatches and other elevated inspections are typical.
This opening will require the rep to spend most of his/her time prospecting for new opportunities in middle market, commercial, and power industry water treatment accounts.

Qualifications
The desired candidate will have a four-year technical degree, in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. The winning candidate will also have 10+ years of plant or sales
experience to a plant environment, excellent oral and written communications skills, an outgoing personality, interest in being a team player, and a desire to sell. A valid driver's license and good driving record are required.

Customer Service Specialist

Description: Job Location: San Francisco Bay Area
WESTERN WATER ASSOCIATES, INC. has an opening for a Customer Service representative in Mountain View, CA. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible handling incoming customer calls. The Customer Service Specialist will work closely with outside sales people to satisfy customer requirements.
Other Responsibilities Include:
Monitoring of website activity including order entry and order tracking.
Familiarity with all aspects of chemical feed and monitoring equipment.
May perform warehouse duties, which include preventative maintenance duties.
Must have a good aptitude for working with chemical pumps, hoses, meters, printers and gauges.
Manages the requisition of all in-inbound raw materials and supplies.
Prepares and administers annual department budget. Monitors expenses throughout the year to ensure costs are within amounts budgeted. Recommends and justifies capital equipment to management.
Includes some physical requirements such as lifting, lowering, pushing, working at heights.

Qualifications
• High school diploma/GED

• No violations or preventable accidents in the past three (3) years
